Bout of Books 12 [Day 7 & Wrap Up Post]

The Bout of Books Read-A-Thon is ending and I think I'm did a great job. I participated in some challenges [Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3 - Day 4 - Day 5 - Day 6] and here will be posted the ones for today.
Currently Reading:
  • Kiss Kill Vanish, by Jessica Martinez [page 35]
Read:
  • The 5th Wave, by Rick Yancey [457 pages - review]
  • Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging, by Louise Rennison [237 pages - review]
  • Zodiac, by Romina Russell [336 pages - review]
  • On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God, by Louise Rennison [243 pages - review]
Overall:
    • 1308 pages read.
    • 4 books totally finished and reviewed.
At the end, this was fun and I read quite a lot, not so much on Day 6 and 7 because its hard to me reading on weekends with my job [and social life]. I hope that y'all read a lot and hopefully will be entering for the next Bout of Books in May. Last challenges are:
    #InSixWords Challenge!
The point of this challenge is to choose 2-3 books whether you read them this week, they are a few of your favorites or they were just the easiest ones to come up with something for. For these books you choose to use for this challenge, you must summarize/share your thoughts or feelings about the book in just six words!
Angus, Thongs & Full-Frontal Snogging, by Louise Rennison
"Where everything is weird, but funny."

    Zodiac, by Romina Russell
"No one believe her, so pay the consequences."

    Red Queen, by Victoria Aveyard
"She's totally normal, except she's not."

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, by Ransom Riggs
"Everything just keeps becoming more weird."

Just One Day, by Gayle Forman
"All this happened in just one day?"

    Mockingjay, by Suzanne Collins
    "Almost everyone died or disappeared."

    Dysfunctional Family Challenge!
Select your characters and give each of them a title (mom, dad, sister, uncle, cousin). Get goofy or be super serious. Up to you! Tell me a little bit about WHY you'd choose these characters for their spot in your fam! Now have a bit of fun and tell me (in a short sentence or a long paragraph) HOW is your family dysfunctional. ;)
Dad - Hades [Percy Jackson & the Olympians/The Heroes of Olympus, by Rick Riordan]
Mom - Queen Amber [The Selection, by Kiera Cass]
Sister - Cath [Fangirl, by Rainbow Rowell]
Brother - Kenji [Shatter Me, by Tahareh Mafi]
Aunt - Queen Levana [Lunar Chronicles, by Marissa Meyer]
Cousin - Jace Herondale [The Mortal Instruments, by Cassandra Clare]
Boyfriend - Daemon Black [Lux, by Jennifer L. Armentrout]
So, this is my life... My dad lives in Hell, like literary. My mom loves being a queen and acts like it, even though she loves me, sometimes forget that I'm not like her. My siblings are super cool! My sister loves to write fanfics and read any book, which is a plus for me because I love to read, so I can borrow her books. My brother can be invisible and making pranks with him is hilarious, but sometimes it can be annoying when he pranks you. My aunt is super bitchy, doesn't like mirrors and wants to do everything she pleases, which is totally a down for me. My cousin is super cool, because helped me to defend myself, but he is always busy slaying monsters and demons. The biggest plus is my boyfriend, which is totally gorgeous, loving and is an alien. You see, my family is totally dysfunctional, but at end we love each other, right? At least, I think so.

I want to see your family & your six words sentences!

    1. Looks like you had a great Bout of Books! I love your dysfunctional family - I haven't read many of those books yet, but the characters sound like a lot of fun. I read a similar amount, but I haven't gotten around to writing my reviews yet so I'm impressed that you have.

      1. Oh, don't get me wrong. I did the reviews, but doesn't mean that all the books I have read have reviews. I have tons of books to review, but whenever I have a chance to finish a book, I'll go straight to review it to have the feeling fresh [and the memories too]. Thanks for stopping by!
