I finish this series and I dunno if I'm sad or happy. I'm kind of disappointed how it ended, but that's for you to find out when you read the actual end. Last time I read a book in this series was just one book that recently came out and I had to wait a year for book #12 and then it was announced that book #13 was going to be out a year after that and it would be the last one... so let's say that I waited a LOT until both books were out so I could read them and not be left hanging, sadly the hanging part still happened.

Reading Charley was like a breath of fresh air. I missed reading her thoughts and how the couldn't stop thinking of everything and nothing at all. I missed the gang and how everyone comes together to solve whatever shit is going down no matter who made the problem happened. I hated that the author always left me out of the secret until everything came out. It happened too many things to count. I loved that no matter that the world was actually ending, everyone had hope and really knew that Charley was going to make everything okay again. That no matter that everything said that Reyes was bad, Charley knew he was inside the monster in front of her.

What I most loved of the whole series was the jokes. The series is hilarious and I cannot recommend this series enough. It is everything in a whole package. Is fantasy, paranormal, romance, crime investigation, but a humorous series. There is not a moment that I can say that I was bored or that I wanted to take a breather from reading the series. I took moments because I had to, not because I wanted to.

I know, for a fact, that there is more to come and I will be behind the author to take any crumbs she wants to give the fans, but the waiting will be painful. I know, for a fact, that Beep will the protagonist this time around and I can't wait for it to happen. I know, for a fact, that I will fall in love with Osh more than I already am and I cannot wait. To end all of this, I cannot wait for more and you shouldn't wait any longer to read this whole series and wait for more with me.

MY RATE

It's over and I'm crying big fat tears, I swear. I finished this book before falling asleep and I think I dreamed of it all. My mind is still wrap around everything that happened and doesn't get the message that it's over, that it ended.

Three might always be the lucky charm of a lot of people, and certainly is the one of this author. She created this magical and wonderful world and I'm really sad to see it go. I seriously think these books will have a special place in my heart.

These two, Beth and Xav get married and shit hits the fan in the worst way. They are being hunted by Heaven, or well just part of it. Plus, Hades is mad at them after what happened down there in the last book. These two are really, really trying to be together, as in fighting the Sevens no matter what. But they play dirty and it can be what costs their relationship. Damn, this book was good.

I found hilarious the whole thing of let's pretend we are college students to blend in against the Sevens, but more the fact that they had to fake being siblings. I found very scary the fact that he died, came back and Lucifer was in town. I found heart wrenching that Gabe wanted more of his life, but his words were only after a moment of weakness. I found very disturbing that Ivy would put a baby inside someone and then meeting him. I found myself feeling incomplete after reading the last chapter. There is an epilogue missing, I swear. So many things, in my opinion, were left out. But I think my feelings are compromised after the fact that I really want more.

If you really feel like reading something like these books, you should definitely have to do it, like asap.

MY RATE

I sincerely think it's a curse. The second book curse. It tends to happen a lot and I feel sad about it. The first book was really, really good, but this one was just good, almost meh.

Our little duo still so in love that kind of make me barf rainbows. Beth and Xav still strong and going against anything and everything that comes on their path, but they never expect that he was coming back or worst, that Beth was going to fall into Hades.

I got to say... I hate all the situation, from when she fell into Hades to coming out of it. I hate, hate with all my being, that my OTP get separated. I like that the characters fight things together than apart. I hate to see the characters suffering, because I suffer with them. I knew that this sonofabitch creature was not easy to defeat, but I never thought he was going to do this. Hades, aka Hell, is not a place for an angel.

Even though the separation was hard, these characters stayed strong and counting with one another and I really loved that. Xavier is what dreams are made of and my heart beats for him, I swear. This series is becoming a really good one and I really want this to end the best possible way. I don't want to spoil everything, but there has been clues of something destined for these two, so let's see what that will be. I'm ready to go in to the next book.

This book... This book right here has been in my bookshelf since my bookshelf was just full of, like, twenty books. I really don't know what made me not read it before, but I guess that I was a little intimated by the fact that it was a big book and I didn't have much time for those. Now, I am on a mission of tackle as many books in my physical bookshelves as I can, so reading this book was just a matter of time.

Angels, paranormal, fantasy and romance is something that I really like. I do love Contemporary and whatnot, but fantasy will always have a special place in my heart. How an author can create a world like this one is something that I will never come up with. Reading this book certainly remind me of Dante's book, but this one is, in my opinion, much better. Not to put aside the classic, but this story had everything that draws me in.

The story goes like this. Bethany is an angel, like real white wings, miracle worker and daughter of God kind of angel. She's on a mission, of course, but she does have to blend in, so high school is for her. She is more down to earth than any angel, so it was a matter of time since she begins to act and feel like on. Beth meets boy, and they fall in love. Xavier is not only the most popular, brody and with baggage boy in school... he is also head over heals with Beth since the moment they meet. He would do anything for her, but who really can protect an angel? And, can they protect their love even though is forbidden? But other problems are arising in this small city, dark disturbances are happening and it was a name, demon.

The battle between good and evil, angels and demons, is something that I will always love to read. Like, for real. If you haven't notice some of my faves are: Hush, Hush, Charley Davidson, Penryn & the End of Days, Darklight, Fallen, A Beautiful Dark and any of the Shadowhunters books. You see, I am a fan through and through. So reading this book was as drinking pure clear water from a bottle. The book has the best combination of fantasy, romance, suspense and action. It was perfection.

People, I think this book might be anyone's alley. But remember that the book is YA, so the romance is a little bit cheesy. But the other parts are really, really good. There are little clichés, but they worked good in the story. I'm really happy with all characters and I'm definitely going to keep reading the series, because I just loved it. I totally recommend.

Our arrival didn't exactly go as planned. I remember it was almost dawn when we landed because the streetlights were still on. We had hoped out descent would go unnoticed, which mainly did, save for a thirteen-year-old boy doing a paper round.

MY RATE

In case you are wondering why I joined these two reviews together... well, you may have noticed that I read them one after the other, so now that I am writing this, it will be very very hard to say where started when/what... Whatever. Then thing is that I have them mixed in my mind, so *shrugs*.

Going back to Charley was very very easy. I thought I was missing things because I haven't read her in a long while, but she helps me remember every time she explains everything. I caught up about everything as easily as in the second chapter. Before going unto details I have to say that I am really disappointed to the fact that the title of the books no longer appeared in the actual book. I find joy whenever I see the title of the book into somewhere in the dialogue or whatever.

For me, book #10 (aka the curse book) was kind of better than #11 (aka the moonlight book). The curse book had so many things going on, but I never got lost. There was a case in the beginning that got resolved real quickly, but then the real paid case came though and it was very different from others, to say something. Also, she is trying to absorb everything that happened the weeks before, so there's that. The moonlight book did not had a case per say, it was a case, but it was entangled with something that Charley was already investigating on. I have to admit that the ends of both books left me wanting to kill someone. CLIFFHANGERS are not my strong suit and waiting is not inside my capability of patience.

I really, really disliked the end of the moonlight book. It left me kind of heartbroken. I want more, but I also want the story to end. I adore reading of her, but this series is before way too long, it has to end some time, right? The story is becoming so complicated that I am scared of the end, for reals. I just want the war to be over and everyone to be happily and ever after. And maybe a series of her daughter, just saying.

Guys, how many times should I keep recommending this series to you all? There's nothing better than this series, please read it.
