I loved Sophie.
"So I'm... staying here?"
"Daniel's covering for you."
I loved Daniel.
"Where's Katie?" I asked, trying to sound casual.
"Eliza's house."
I loved Eliza.
"And your parents?" I asked.
"Some charity thing."
I loved charity.
"So why are you going to read when I'm right here?"

I laughed a lot in this book and then some. I recommend.

     "How are your acting skills?" I ask, peeking through the again and spotting Lucinda holding position.
     "The last time I acted was in the school pantomime."
     I smile, rather inappropriately, given our situation, remembering Heather playing Cinderella. "You're going to open the door and throw yourself into the corridor. Look panicked."
     "I can do that."
     "Tell her I'm climbing out the window."
     "I can do that, too." She rolls her shoulders, readying herself, then drops her eyes to the frying pan again. "And as soon as she barrels through the door to stop you..."
I smile and raise the pan. "I'm going to whack her over the hear."
     "Fabulous," Heather mutters, putting her hand on the knob. "I only came over for wine and a chat," she reminds me grimly. Then she opens the door and starts screaming like a deranged nut job.

I know I read this some time ago, but that part was so, so hilarious that I couldn't stop myself of sharing it.

This book, guys, was really good. I already read it all, but since is going to be release today I was thinking of giving you one of my favorite paragraphs. The book is super fun, sweet and hot. I loved every moment of it. Soon, I will be hosting a blog tour of it here on my blog. Watch for it!

According to Jenny: "Some people might think that being 'furiously happy' is just an excuse to be stupid and irresponsible and invite a herd of kangaroos over to your house without telling your husband first because you suspect he would say no since he's never particularly liked kangaroos. And that would be ridiculous because no one would invite a herd of kangaroos into their house. Two is the limit. I speak from personal experience. My husband says that none is the new limit. I say he should have been clearer about that before I rented all those kangaroos."

"Most of my favorite people are dangerously fucked-up but you'd never guess because we've learned to bare it so honestly that it becomes the new normal. Like John Hughes wrote in The Breakfast Club, 'We're all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it.' Except go back and cross out the word 'hiding.'"

Jenny's first book, LET'S PRETEND THIS NEVER HAPPENED, was ostensibly about family, but deep down it was about celebrating your own weirdness. FURIOUSLY HAPPY is a book about mental illness, but under the surface it's about embracing joy in fantastic and outrageous ways-and who doesn't need a bit more of that?

          I wasn't the only one with sleep problems, as Victor had been talking in his sleep since he was a kid. When he was eight he was traveling with his dad and sat up in a darkened hotel room at two a.m., opened his eyes, and raised his arm to point toward the dark hall, saying, "Who's that man standing in the corner?" Then he lay back down and went straight back to sleep while his father quietly shit himself. Metaphorically. Probably.

          A few weeks ago Victor woke himself up yelling, "LADY. YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER. OUR CAT ISN'T EVEN IN THE HOSPITAL. HE DOESN'T WANT PAJAMAS." Poor, Victor. Even in sleep he's plagued by assholes.

Reading this book because of Dystopian Reading Challenge Book Club. Its good. I never thought I was going to read. I have been engrossed in other books, but I'm sure I will end this book as soon as possible. I don't know if I will pick up the next ones. But for now, let's see if I finish this one. By the way, the chapter from where I took that little paragraph is super sad. My feels!

I once heard my mother tell my father that she shouldn't have to explain why she was pissed. That if he didn't already know what he'd done wrong, then he wasn't really sorry for it. What the fuck does that even mean? Newflash, ladies: We can't read your thoughts. And frankly, I'm not entirely sure I'd want to. The female mind is scary place to be. 

Men? We don't leave a lot of room for doubt: You're a dick. You fucked mu girlfriend. You killed my dog. I hate you. Direct. Clear. Unambiguous. You girls should try it sometime. It would bring us all one step closer to world peace.

I'm loving this novel page by page, is super hilarious! He is a dick, but a funny one *winks*.

I'm almost finishing this book! Its really really good, but I'm so lost almost by every page I pass. I which to know more, but if I'm lost the main character is worst that me because she has shit idea of what is happening. Basically almost no one knows, except maybe Gideon and its something she detests, at beginning only. Gonna keep reading it, lets see if I can finish it today.

SERIOUSLY, guys you should all read these books. They are totally hilarious. Once you begin the first one you cannot stop [they are ten]. I'm still confused in how many years Libby [the little sister] have because she is totally a mad case and somehow she isn't potty training yet, but she's in kinder. Plus, Georgia [the main character] is totally a laugh, stupid yes, but toally full of laughosity. The book is set in Englad, so the accent is very clear in how they speak, TOTALLY loving it. So, anyways, what its your teaser this week?
