Who?

I have been debating if this page should exist, but the battle ended in you reading it because I made it. So here goes nothing!

Salut ! My name is Stephanie Aimeé, or Sam for short. I'm 24 years old, from Puerto Rico. I recently (May 2017) graduate as an English Major, so being a bookworm became my profession. I'm currently working on my teacher's certification because I wanna teach kids to breathe and live words, or in my case worlds. Nothing better than diving deep in a whole new world inside a book. So books are my way to live!

I started this blog once upon a time when I was really into making reviews on Goodreads. I saw that blogging was totally in and I wanted to be in that world too. This blog has been my escape in more ways than one. It had also suffered from my ups and downs in life, but I keep on doing it because is a good part of me.

This blog is called City of Fandoms because I always imagined all my fandoms coming together and living in one big city, so the name came up from that illusion. City of Fandoms actually represents the imagination that every author has whenever they write their stories that I fall in love with. City of Fandoms is the place I go whenever I open a new book and fall right into the characters lives.

In here you will find reviews and posts related to books, or as I called them bookish things. You will also find some blog tours/book blitz and even maybe some posts about music because without it I wouldn't have peace of mind. I read mostly contemporary romance nowadays, but young adult books are always on my shelves, so I read those often too. I obviously love romance, but I'm a sucker for a good fantasy, mystery, and sci-fi, not horror but I have read a fair share of them.

In my future, I see more blogging, because how can I forget something that brings me so much joy? But also, I aspire to be a good teacher and maybe a professor. I want to teach my love for books. I want to show my kids (mine or students) the City of Fandoms. I want them to breathe and live words.
