★★★★★
After a horrible accident claims the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever Bloom can see people's auras, hear their thoughts, and know someone's entire life story by touching them. Going out of her way to avoid human contact to suppress her abilities, she has been branded a freak at her new high school — but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste.
Damen is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy. He's the only one who can silence the noise and random energy in her head - wielding a magic so intense, it's as though he can peer straight into her soul. As Ever is drawn deeper into his enticing world of secrets and mystery, she's left with more questions than answers. And she has no idea just who he really is - or what he is. The only thing she knows to be true is that she's falling deeply and helplessly in love with him.
my thoughts
Lovely, lovely book! Red tulips are my favorite flowers thanks to this book. There was so many love in this book, like awwww. It have something alike with Fallen Series, but it have his originally too. Like much action. I like it a lot better. The Immortals world is sort of confusing, but you get into it very quickly.
“Today's worries are yesterday's fears and tomorrow's stories.”Ever Bloom. A girl who lost his parents, sister and dog in a terrible accident, but the thing is that she died in that accident. Something happened. She made it back and now have kind of super powers, like reading others thought by simply touching them. After a year of the accident, she is now in other school and is the freak of the class. But there is someone new in school, which have all his attention in Ever and viceversa.
Damen Auguste. Like it says above, gorgeous, exotic and wealthy. Ever falls deeply and helplessly in love him, but he was already in love with her (like in all her lives). What?
“I love you," I whisper."And I love you." He smiles, his lips seeking mine. "Always have. Always will.”Join the world of the Immortals! Would you?
I would say this book was rather cute. I also think this Aura thing is really innovative but i found myself skipping passages to just finish this book...
ReplyDeleteEven though the story is quite interesting, this book bored me in bits and parts. But overall a light and lovely read!!!
