From New York Times bestselling author Kylie Scott comes the second sizzling stand-alone novel in the Dive Bar series!

When his younger brother loses interest in online dating, hot bearded bartender Joe Collins only intends to log into his account and shut it down. Until he reads about her.

Alex Parks is funny, fascinating, and pretty much everything he's been looking for in a woman—except that she lives across the country. Soon they're emailing up a storm and telling each other their deepest, darkest secrets...except the one that really matters.

When Alex pays Joe a surprise visit, however, they both discover that when it comes to love, it's always better with a twist.

MY RATE

Since I read the Stage Dive series, I fell in love with the way Kylie Scott writes and creates her characters. Dive Bar series is not an exception, Dirty was very good, but Twist was better. I love every second of it, I knew it was going to happen, but damn I really love it.

When you make an account in a dating site, the least you expect is to see is someone taking the place of his brother. Something like that happened to Alex. Joe never actually said that he was not Eric and when she arrived to surprised this Eric... well it was awkward. Joe apologized as much as he could, and Alex kinds of forgive him. But a lot of other things round up for them and fate has always a trick for them.

Joe Collins is the character that doesn't say much, but does everything. Meaning that he's a Mr. FixIt for everyone. You have a problem, he solves it. But that doesn't do well to him, right? Alex is the contrary to Joe. She's like a some kind of hermit, always afraid of people (I do not judge her, I know how it feels). These two combined made the perfect combination. He lets her see that people are as bad as she thinks, and she lets him know that if people can get into trouble, they can get out of it too. but when Joe got too many problems in his shoulders, Alex tried to help, but he pushed her away. She tried to stay as much as she can, I give her that and I loved that, but Joe was stupid for letting her go.

You see, I like Alex. She has this witty charisma, comebacks for anything and I wish to be like her. She is so relatable to me, so now, I am waiting for my Joe to arrive. Joe is perfect, but a man of a few words, which a-ok with her, I guess. I really like all this expressions and whenever he has to say something, it was something worth it to day. I really loved this two. I want to read more of this series, what a shame that I have to wait a couple of months more.
