Never Love a Highlander - By: Maya Banks

Never Love a Highlander (McCabe Trilogy #3)
by: Maya Banks

5 of 5 stars

Caelen McCabe’s young, reckless heart nearly destroyed his clan. Now, putting family loyalty above all else, he steps up to marry his older brother’s jilted bride and salvage the uneasy alliance between two clans. While beautiful Rionna McDonald is a fit wife for any man, Caelen trusts no woman, especially not this sweet temptress who torments him with white-hot longing.

As the sacrificial lamb in her father’s power game, Rionna will do her duty but vows to protect her heart and her pride from humiliation. Despite everything, though, the heat in Caelen’s touch melts her defenses, and she craves the sensual delights of a husband who guards his emotions as fiercely as his clan. But when the ultimate battle for the McCabe legacy is upon them, Rionna’s true warrior spirit emerges. She will risk the wrath of her father, the fury of her enemies, and her life to prove to Caelen that his wife’s love is too precious to lose.

AYE! This is the final book of the McCabe Trilogy and better end cannot have. I love so so much these books, that I missing already reading them. I will always remember the McCabe brothers, because of obvious reasons (they are HOT as hell). This book is the full packege: love, revenge, humor, sex, romance, and so many things that I cannot point now.

As is described in the sypnosis, this book tells the love story between the last McCabe brother, Caelen, and Laird McDonald's daughter and only heir, Rionna. I cannot tell if Caelen fell in love with her from first sight, although he says that he did, but he do loves her too much in this book. Rionna's love for Caelen is incomparable with anything. So, yeah full of love everywhere, but not always. They do fight a lot at the beginning, Gosh! But I laugh so much at that parts.

The Duncan Cameron problem is going to be resolve in this book, finally. After beating the shit out of Rionna, Caelen swears to kill him. Now that the alliance between McDonald and McCabe families is done. War is just in the next corner. Who will win?

Certainly, my favorite character would be Rionna McDonald. Like of the entire trilogy, her. She is so badass that the word is short describe for her. She is totally a warrior princess, only for Caelan. *winks*

I DO recommend this triology to everyone with 18 or more years old.
