I created this to basically ramble about any problem related to books that I have and that maybe you do too. I'm trying to post one every two months and as for now, I'm doing good. Let's see at the end of the year how I did. Hope you like reading the following issue...
"This book is for anyone who has ever lost a loved one, for anyone who has woken up crying and gone to bed the same way, for anyone who has had to learn that it's okay to be not okay. Surviving isn't strength, it's continuing to breathe one day at a time; strength is learning to live despite the pain."

Waiting on Wednesday [47]
"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:
by: Colleen Hoover
Sometimes it is the one who loves you who hurts you the most.
Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.
Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.
As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.
With this bold and deeply personal novel, Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground for her as a writer. Combining a captivating romance with a cast of all-too-human characters, It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price.

But the vacation is short-lived.
The treaty between Earth and L’eihr has awakened an ancient force that threatens to destroy them all. The Aribol, mysterious guardians charged with maintaining interstellar peace, deem the alliance a threat to the galaxy. They order a separation of the races, decreeing humans and L’eihrs must return to their own planets within the month or face extinction. In fact, they already have agents in place on Earth, ready to begin.
With the clock ticking, Aelyx and Cara assemble a team of colonists and race back to Earth, where they unite with old friends to solve the mystery of who the Aribol are, what they want, and the real reason the alliance has provoked them. EXCERPT:
I lifted my right hand, reaching for my iron stake out of instinct, even though I knew it would do no good against the prince.“You shouldn’t do that.” His voice was deep with what reminded me of an English accent. “I know you want to, but it would be very, very unwise of you, Ivy.”
My hand twitched.
Creepy Prince smiled slightly. “Your friend has been very helpful.”
That got my hackles up. I slid my sunglasses onto my forehead and forced my tone to stay calm and level. “I’m sure she has. Speaking of Val, happen to know where I can find her?”
His lips curled in a semblance of a smile as he stepped closer. The prince was tall, taller than Ren, who was pushing six foot two. My entire back stiffened as I forced myself to hold my ground, even though every instinct demanded that I run and run super fast, because he had almost killed me once before. Correction. He would have definitely killed me if he hadn’t realized what I was and had, I guessed, healed me.
“I’ve been waiting for you,” he said, instead of answering my question, his pale blue eyes fixed on mine.
My hand curled into a useless fist. “That is extremely creepy to hear.”
That cold smile returned. “Why don’t we talk? There are seats across the way.”
“Yeah, that’s not going to happen.”
The slow smile increased but never reached his eyes. “Oh, I know it is.”
Fine hairs rose on my arms.
“What exactly can you do right now?” he said in the same coldly polite voice. “Refuse me?” Creepy Prince laughed, and it wasn’t a bad sound. Again, it was something that was just cold, as if he were mimicking what a human would do. “You can’t.”
“I can.” My palm itched to grab the thorn stake secured under my pant leg, but I held still. I might be reckless, but I wasn’t stupid.
“Really? I will have to beg to differ on that. You see, humans surround us. So many of them, and I have an extraordinary appetite.” His eyes appeared to glimmer as his gaze slithered from the top of my curly head down to my toes. “A rather impressive appetite for many, many things.”
“Okay. First off, ew.” My lip curled. “Secondly, I don’t want to hear about any of your appetites.”
One dark eyebrow rose. “Oh, but you should know that I could kill twenty of these humans in less than five seconds and feed on the rest, leaving them to believe that it was this little red-headed girl who murdered these innocent people.” His voice dropped even lower as he leaned in and icy air brushed my cheek. “You deny me this, those lives will be on your hands, little bird.”
Anger flushed hotly as my eyes met his. There wasn’t a single part of me that doubted anything he said. He had me. God, I hated to admit it, but he had me.

Hottest Mess
(S.I.N. #2)by: J. Kenner
Publication Date: July 12th, 2016
Genres: Adult, Erotica, Contemporary, Romance
The S.I.N. series continues with the seductive follow-up to the Stark International Novel Dirtiest Secret, from the New York Times bestselling author of “red-hot and angsty” fiction that “keeps readers guessing” (Publishers Weekly, on Under My Skin).
No one can know about our love—and hiding only makes it hotter.
Dallas Sykes has a reputation. He is known for his parties, his money, and the countless women on his arm. Yet the Dallas I know is a different man—darker, smarter, and unbearably sexy. Just one look from him can leave me breathless; the anticipation of his touch can make me lose control.
Inextricably bound by our past, we keep each other’s secrets. And while there are people who have the power to hurt us, it’s the truth that threatens us most of all. Dallas can be mine only behind closed doors, our passion as searing as it is forbidden. Yet nothing in this world has ever felt so desperately, deliciously right.
Hottest Mess is intended for mature audiences.

Top Ten Things About Me
*pffft, I am not that interesting*
- I am an almost full time bookworm. I am always carrying books or my iPad. I never have nothing to do, because I always have something to read. That's why my TBR pile never ends.
- I am 24/7 hearing music. Any type that I feel like in the moment. I hear music to sleep, to read, to study, to anything at all. You could say that music is part of my life as much as books.
- My style is simple, comfortable and no-fucks-given, but always anxious about what people think about me (read number 7). I am a Converse All Star and Vans Off the Walls girl. A girl that loves to put shirts with messages on. Nerdy glasses. Ponytails, braids, curly hair... whatever.
- My hair is always in a different color. You might see it dark, but then from another angle, is blue. One day is pink and then the next is purple. Never trust my license, because it will always say that I am a brunette, but I have not been one since I graduated from high school and that was five years ago.
- I am in love with languages in general. One of the many reasons why my BA is in English. I just love it.
- I love to teach. Anything, but mostly.... TADA... English. My kids tell me I am the shit, or as they say "A fuego!" I am very proud of my work with them and I just love them all no matter how many gray hairs they cause me to grow.
- I may not be diagnosticated with Anxiety and Depression (because my family doesn't believe is a real condition, so I have not gone to a psychologist), but I suffer of them. I am so anxious that I dread to go out by myself to anywhere. I hate it and I get scared shitless. Waking up every day and rising from my bed is a lot of work, but I do it because it might be worth it and if it's not, depressions hits and I might not even rise until the next day. Is a day by day situation that I battle with. The battle inside my mind is always a side saying that "I shouldn't give a fuck" and the other saying "look, they are talking about you".
- So, that means that I am awkwards as fuck. I have two sides as well. I might be the shy person that never talks and hides in a corner or I can be the life of the party if I put my mind in it (and after a couple of drinks). Yeah, I am very awkward.
- When I am anxious, I love to write. You know, to write non sense. Things that no one will never read and even things that I hadn't thought (like writing what other people said). Is a mechanism I have created to stay focused on other things and not my surroundings (because if I do, I might get a panic attack).
- I am a firm believer of #WordsToLiveBy, but I am an always "pendeja" that never follows them (search that word, because I am not translating it).
You see! I am not interesting. Why would you read all that?
