★★★★

It started with unspoken animosity. The bitter bite of jealousy. And now its full blown hate.

It was during my first football game that I first felt the first chill of hate. I looked it right in the eyes and felt its sticky tentacles reach out for me. I’d never experienced something so cold and empty before.

The effect of that look lingered, like an unspoken promise, long after it was gone.

Becoming a couple – becoming the other half of a campus celebrity wasn’t easy. I let down walls guarding my heart and he looked past my glasses and accident prone tendencies. Romeo and I are an unlikely match, a #nerd and a jock. But we made it.

And we’re happy.

Zach doesn’t want us to be happy. He wants Romeo to pay for getting him kicked out of Omega and for the night he spent in jail. He’s going to use anything and everything he can to get his revenge. Including me.

As the weather on campus grows cold and the days become dark, revenge becomes the center of someone’s life and the happiness Romeo and I worked so hard for is threatened.

I can’t help but worry that our love is going to be overshadowed by hate.

my thoughts

Touchdown! Feeling the football inside of me, I'm now. Basically this book IS a touchdown. The first book was a cliché, and more of less this one was one, but there were surprises that I couldn't fathom. If I liked the story, now I love it and I'm going full straight to the next and last book of this series. And I know, I know I'm going to love it.

Rimmel & Romeo are back in campus after Christmas break, still together and more in love than ever. BUT there is a shadow over them too... Zach. He is back too and its not a happy camper. He wants revenge and that cannot be good. In the other hand, things are looking up for Romeo with the NFL and the relationship between Rimmel and Romeo's mother is turning very motherly. There is another BUT. Zach is seeking revenge so he knows the weak spots and his hate may blow everything up.

Overall the book is GREAT. Just like the first book, there are parts that you know will happen, but you still keep reading and loving it. I love every second of this book and I assure you that if you like romance, contemporary, college life and football... this is def your pick. Plus is totally hilarious!
