What do you do when the one you least expect to matter…

Ends up mattering the most?

Derek Pearson likes to think he’s an easygoing guy. Uncomplicated, upfront, and unapologetic with what he wants. His what you see is what you get attitude is on prominent display for anyone who cares to look, and his foul mouth is right there to back it up should you miss the point.

However, what you see isn’t always what you get, and only a select few have ever glimpsed the real man under the brash exterior.

Among them? Professor Jordan Devaney. Complicated, high-maintenance, and vibrant, he’s Derek’s opposite in every way. From the moment they saw each other, a love-hate relationship began.

But what happens when one person wants more?

MY RATE

Effing finally! I read this book and is a effing finally. I have been hanging around with this book for a long while, since it was out. I was so wanting to know more about these two since book one. Going back to the style of writing of Ella Frank is always my greatest pleasure. So I really, really enjoyed this book, plus the fact that I devoured in a couple of hours.

Since the last book did not actually tell us what was happening around Jordan and Derek, the author made us a book just for them. The story begins in the middle of everything, then goes back in time and then zooms it to the present. For a person that hates that, the book was pretty amazing. Derek and Jordan are completely different people. One spoiled rich smartass boy who always have what he want and one suffered poor boy with family issues, these are Jordan and Derek. But these two touch each other buttons. Even though they live in a constant fight, as Finn says, they really love each other. They just don't know what to do with it.

The book couldn't be more perfect because it just couldn't. I am very happy to recommend this whole series (which is only two books), but also the series that comes before which is one of my favorites of favorites. You all should read Ella Frank, because there's no way that you don't like it.
