Three Popular Books Worth The Hype

I deleted popular because what's popular for me is not for the rest of the world. And when I refer to the hype, I mean my hype to read the book, not anyone's hype. #NoRagrets

Bookish Bingo: Winter 2017 - 2018

Around this time, December, I am always looking for reading challenges for the new year and the coming days that I spent doing nothing at home because of winter break. In that search, I found this BINGO.
Bookish Bingo is a reading challenge that spans one season. This round is winter 2017-18, so December, January, and February. Each season I create a new bingo card with 24 different categories. The object of the game is to get as many bingos as possible – and also to possibly expand your reading horizons. The only real rules are that you can only have one square per book, so no doubling up on challenges, and you can only count one DNF. All you need to do to play is comment here!
Here's the card:

I will post updates on my progress once each month and a wrap-up at the end of February. I hope you can join me and I really hope to get some reading done.

Thursday Tracks [68]

Ohhh! You know, and if you don't you'll know now, that I LOVE, love, LoVe music. Just as I live and breathe words, I live and breathe music. Those two things are just part of me as any other organ in my body. As you can see in my Music page, I hear music while reading! My Thursdays will become from now on... Thursday Tracks day! A feature created to share what song, album, playlist, artist I got stuck in my head every week. Now, this week song is...

DUSK TILL DAWN

Artist: Zayn ft. Sia

favorite lyrics: I wanna see the sunrise and your sins. Just me and you.

Hear me next Thursday!

This Is How I Blog

This year has been a lot of ups and downs of my blogging. I have times where I have blogged a lot and others where I am MIA for a while. But this is what I use to blog, which is not much:
  1. Goodreads & Amazon : this is to get all the book information and from where I take the covers and such. Goodreads is like my facebook. I go in every time I'm bored.
  2. GIMP : all the graphics I create... I do them there. Is free, simple and cute.
  3. my Journal : I lose this little notebook of mine and I'll be dead. In there I have everything schedule and such.
  4. Blogger :  because without this platform, I wouldn't have a blog at all.
  5. Grammarly : it corrects all my grammar mistakes when I'm typing a review or whatever. IN LOVE WITH IT!
  6. iBooks & Kindle : if you haven't noticed MOST of the books I read are in eBook format, so without these two I would be lost and not reading.
That's basically it. I told you it wasn't that fancy for me to blog. I might not be the best blogger on the earth, but I like my style.

Waiting on Wednesday [118]

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:
DC Icons #2

BATMAN: NIGHTWALKER

by: Marie Lu
Release Date: January 2nd, 2017

Before he was Batman, he was Bruce Wayne. A reckless boy willing to break the rules for a girl who may be his worst enemy.

The Nightwalkers are terrorizing Gotham City, and Bruce Wayne is next on their list.

One by one, the city's elites are being executed as their mansions' security systems turn against them, trapping them like prey. Meanwhile, Bruce is turning eighteen and about to inherit his family's fortune, not to mention the keys to Wayne Enterprises and all the tech gadgetry his heart could ever desire. But after a run-in with the police, he's forced to do community service at Arkham Asylum, the infamous prison that holds the city's most brutal criminals.

Madeleine Wallace is a brilliant killer . . . and Bruce's only hope.

In Arkham, Bruce meets Madeleine, a brilliant girl with ties to the Nightwalkers. What is she hiding? And why will she speak only to Bruce? Madeleine is the mystery Bruce must unravel. But is he getting her to divulge her secrets, or is he feeding her the information she needs to bring Gotham City to its knees? Bruce will walk the dark line between trust and betrayal as the Nightwalkers circle closer.

What are you waiting on?
